Prasthuthi - Poster Presentation

About :

 

Posters are a key component of communicating your science and an important element in a successful scientific career. Posters, while delivering the same high-quality science, offer a different medium from either oral presentations or published papers and should be treated accordingly. Posters should be considered a snapshot of your work intended to engage colleagues in a dialog about the work or if you are not present, to be a summary that will encourage the reader to want to learn more. Many a lifelong collaboration has begun in front of a poster board.

 

Rules :

  •  The poster must contain your name and college name.

  •  Maximum 2 participants for a team is allowed.

  •  The poster size is restricted to (32x40 )inches size.

  •  Photographs may be used in addition to other illustration. Figures may be in colour.

  •  All materials must be prepared (PRINTED) and “Poster ready” in advance of arriving at the Symposium. Printers will not be available.

Format

 

STAGE I: ONLINE PAPER SUBMISSION:

 

  • The Poster must be sent to fectra2k15poster@gmail.com

  • The subject of the mail should strictly be "POSTER_PRESENTATION - Title of the Poster"

  • The last date for submission of the Paper for poster presentation is 27-Jan-2015.

  • Selection of first stage will be intimated through mail on or before 28-Jan-2015.

  • For further details, mail your queries to fectra2k15@gmail.com.

  • For any queries, contact Co-ordinators.

 

STAGE II: CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION:

 

  • If your poster is selected, Confirm your Participation on or before 27-Jan-2015.

  • If not confirmed, your poster will be rejected

 

STAGE III: ON STAGE PRESENTATION:

 

  • The final round will be on-stage during Fectra 2k15.

  • The participants are required to present their poster, in person.

  • The participant will be given 7 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for Queries.

  • The decision of the jury will be final and binding.
