Stick - D - Poster
Posters are a key component of communicating your science and an important element in a successful scientific career. Posters, while delivering the same high-quality science, offer a different medium from either oral presentations or published papers and should be treated accordingly. Posters should be considered a snapshot of your work intended to engage colleagues in a dialog about the work or if you are not present, to be a summary that will encourage the reader to want to learn more. Many a lifelong collaboration has begun in front of a poster board.
Format
Phase I :

Your idea must be sent to acumen2k15poster@gmail.com

The subject of the mail should strictly be ""POSTER PRESENTATION"" - Title of POSTER"

The last date for submission of paper is 13-Feb-2015.

Selected ideas will be intimated through mail on or before 13-Feb-2015.

Choose any one of the given problem statements, prepare a solution for it and send us the abstracts of your solutions
Contents of the Abstract should include:

Title of the Idea
-
Description of the problem statements
-
Methodology/results/limitations/conclusion
-
The distinguishing features of the idea from any existing solution
-
If your idea is selected, Confirm your Participation on or before 15-Feb-2015.

If not confirmed, your participation will be rejected.
Phase II:

The shortlisted teams will be intimated through mail

Selected participants must bring their poster at the time of the event.
Rules

The poster must contain your name and college name.
-
Maximum 2 participants for a team is allowed.

The poster size is restricted to (32x40 )inches size.
-
Photographs may be used in addition to other illustration. Figures may be in colour.

All materials must be prepared (PRINTED) and “Poster ready” in advance of arriving at the Symposium. Printers will not be available.
